GERMANY

To allow for the commissioning of a new electronic interlocking at Köln Hbf signal box, the regional and long-distance tracks at Köln Hbf will be closed from 21:00 on November 14 to 05:00 on November 24. There will also be disruption to S-Bahn traffic on certain dates.

GERMANY

At the December timetable change DB will introduce the first of its new ICE L trains. The first services to use the new Talgo built stock will be ICE 1548 departing Berlin 06:55, returning as ICE 1055, departing Köln at 15:36.

SPAIN

From December 14 Ouigo España will introduce a new daily service between Barcelona and Sevilla via Zaragoza, Madrid and Córdoba. The train from Barcelona will depart at 07:35, arriving in Sevilla at 13:51, whilst the return service will depart Sevilla 17:02, arriving in Barcelona 23:03. Details of this new service will be included in the forthcoming Winter 2025/2026 edition of the European Rail Timetable which will be available to pre-order soon.
